Position	Global Sourcing Specialist
Job Description	POSITION PURPOSE: -As a Global Sourcing Specialist in Cummins East Asia IPO working for Cummins Power Generation business unit. - Working scope of this role includes all aspects of sourcing, supplier relationship management in supply function for the products of Power Electronics KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Be responsible for searching, evaluating and managing new World Class suppliers within the East Asia region. - Work closely with the sourcing teams in the Corporate and B.U. Purchasing organizations providing information and local hands on support to move suppliers from new through infant care to mature established supplier partner in all aspects of cost, quality, delivery and relationships. - Establish and maintain cross-functional linkage with Cummins Plant's worldwide to assure effective sharing of sourcing information. - Lead and implement RFQ with the right source, TCO analysis, price negotiation and support development of sourcing strategy through regular communications sourcing teams. - Ensure suppliers have appropriate quality systems, audit effectiveness, supplier source release, drive corrective action plans and supplier process improvements. - Manage the supplier performance such as OTD, capacity planning, inventory, communication, quality etc, regularly communicate with supplier senior managements to take necessary actions. - Support Corporate and B.U. Purchasing organizations with the global procurement strategies. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor degree or above in engineering or business management - At least 4 years solid working experience in supply management or related area with multinational company. - Rich working knowledge in electronic component such as PCB, Active/passive, magnetic component, Power electronics etc, Knowledge in PCB Assembly process is plus. - Good communication & project management skills with experience in customer relationship management. - SQIE experience is preferable. - Willing to travel 30% or above daily work and have frequent night conference calls as required. - Good skills in Microsoft word, Excel, Power Point and Lotus Notes. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Chinese. - Capable of leading teleconference with different English speakers. - Strong inter-personal skills to work through all levels of organization, internal and external. - Proactive, able to make decisions and work with minimal supervision to deliver agreed results.
