| Job Description | We have a strong opportunity in our Beijing office for a Principal Application Engineer. This individual will work on design and implementation of DCS based control systems for China nuclear power plants where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles and state-of-the-art technical knowledge. This candidate will exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, design decisions and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Please note that this position will require the candidate to supervise the activities of others.
Specific Requirements are as follows: Project Technical Lead(er) Regulatory Control Discrete Control Control Design Control Configuration Control Implementation Invensys IA Series DCS Control Networks The qualified candidate should be able to perform senior level assistance at all levels of a non-safety related control project (sales, specification, factory acceptance test, and startup). Areas of process control expertise should include the following: • Diverse protection systems • Turbine island and Control island systems (main steam, flow and recirculation flow, plant computer, etc.) Specifically, typical skills should include: • Design and implementation of the above control systems for nuclear power plants. • Some knowledge of nuclear industry standards (IEC 60880, IEEE 603, 323, 344, 7.4.3.2, etc.) • Experience in working in ISO 9000 Environment • Some knowledge of nuclear plant licensing documents (PSAR/FSAR, Plant Technical Specification, etc.) |
