Sales Support: 1.Provide technical assistance to sales staff, distributors and end users. 2.Support industrial segmentation programs. 3.Conduct tests and provide recommendations for improvement. 4.Assist in tool design and development as needed. 5.Develop an organized summary of opportunities, specify and facilitate actions to capitalize on the opportunity. Portfolio development: 1.Assist in the development of global product strategies and portfolio development. 2.Provide input to industrial segment needs. 3.Assess competitive opportunities and threats and support development needs. 4.Participate in ACE projects 5.Technical liaison with staff supporting new product development and troubleshooting. 6.Support manufacturing cost reduction and margin improvement initiatives. 7.Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer and end user operations and economics to specify ways that the existing product / service package can be improved to provide a competitive edge Training: 1.Assist in the development and delivery of product and application training for sales staff, distribution partners, end-users and industry groups. Marcom: 1.Assist in the development of marketing communication materials, i.e. catalogs, press releases, marketing bulletins, promotions, trade events, conferences, etc.. 2. Develop a reputation for industry expertise among key customer and end-user groups and leverage this know-how to improve profitability. Required Experience: A Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business or Marketing is required or relevant industrial experience. Experience in industrial cutting tools and machining processes is preferred. Must be a collaborator with excellent communication skills with the ability to manage a wide range of simultaneous activities. Fluency in a local language and English is required. Must have a track record of taking initiative and driving programs to completion. Technical marketing experience of industrial products with a proven track record working in a multi-cultural business environment. |
